The Louisiana School Nurses Organization is
strong and active in its 40th year of supporting and promoting the importance of
effective School Nursing Services. The organization's members strengthen our
state's educational process through the promotion of improvement in the health
and wellness of students. School Nurses continue to meet the challenge of
finding ways to deal with the overwhelming problems and changing school health
issues, especially since being faced with increasing numbers of chronically ill
and physically challenged children. Without this organization to promote and
sustain school nursing services in our state, we would have NO voice. Therefore
it is imperative that all school nurses join and support LSNO to ensure a future
for the profession of school nursing in Louisiana.
If you are not a member of LSNO, join us now. We have
the courage to care about the future of Louisiana's kids and we want YOU to be a
part of us, so get on board and help to shape the forward progress of our
profession. There is power in numbers and we must show that we are a unified
force.
